Lombardy region: microcredit measure

Regione Lombardia promotes the “Microcredit” measure aimed at facilitating the promotion of business start-up.

WHO CAN APPLY?
– SMEs that have been active for a maximum of 5 years and have a registered office in Lombardy
– self-employed workers who have declared the start of their business for a maximum of 5 years and have their tax domicile in Lombardy
in possession of a financing resolution from one of the contracted Microcredit Operators.

WHAT DO YOU FINANCE?
Projects to start or develop a business activity for an investment amount between 15,000 euros and 75,000 euros (elevable to 100,000 euros in the case of limited liability companies).

WHAT EXPENSES ARE ALLOWED?
a) purchase of capital goods, machinery, equipment, furnishings, hardware and facilities for renewable, thermal and refrigeration energy production;
b) purchase of management, professional and other business applications software, user licenses and cloud and saas and similar software services, patents and user licenses on intellectual property;
(c) specialized consulting and other functional expenses for the registration of trademarks, patents and for the acquisition of quality certifications;
(d) services and consulting related to business start-up;
(e) training courses;
(f) general expenses.

WHAT IS THE AGEVOLUTION?
The facility provides a zero-interest regional loan combined with a loan granted on market terms by an approved Microcredit Operator, aimed at supporting 100 percent of the eligible expenses.
Partial remission of the portion of the loan granted by the Lombardy Region is provided, rebating the last installments for a maximum amount equal to 50 percent of the principal of the regional loan.

The window is open until available resources are exhausted.
