Incentives to Italian SMEs for renewable energy production
The Ministry of Enterprise and Made In Italy has earmarked 320 million euros for the new Measure to support SMEs’ investments in self-production of energy from renewable sources.
WHO ARE THE BENEFICIARIES?
Italian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
WHAT DO YOU FINANCE?
Investments aimed at self-generation of electricity from solar photovoltaic or mini-wind power plants for immediate self-consumption and for energy storage/storage systems behind the meter for deferred self-consumption.
WHAT EXPENSES ARE ALLOWED?
– Purchase, installation and commissioning of new tangible instrumental goods, particularly solar photovoltaic or mini-wind systems, incurred as of the date of submission of the application for facilitation
– Digital equipment and technologies strictly functional to the operation of the systems
– Energy storage systems produced
– Energy diagnosis necessary for planning the interventions
Expenditures must be between 30,000 and 1,000,000 euros.
WHAT IS THE AGEVOLUTION?
Contribution to plant account in the maximum amount of:
– 30% for medium-sized enterprises
– 40% for micro and small enterprises
– 30% for any additional storage component
– 50% for the ex-ante energy diagnosis required to plan the planned interventions
WHAT ARE THE TIMELINES?
The terms and procedures for submitting applications will be defined by a subsequent directorial order of the Ministry.
