New Skills Fund

The third edition of the New Skills Fund, one of the most important opportunities for companies that want to invest in human capital, kicks off with an endowment of 731 million euros.

WHO ARE THE BENEFICIARIES?
All Italian companies are eligible to participate.

WHAT DOES IT FINANCE?
The initiative finances training projects to enhance workers’ skills in the following areas:
a) technological and digital systems;
b) introduction and development of artificial intelligence;
c) sustainability and environmental impact;
d) circular economy;
e) ecological transition;
f) energy efficiency;
g) corporate welfare and organizational wellness.

WHAT IS THE AGEVOLUTION?
There is a non-repayable contribution equal to:
. 100% of the social security and welfare charges for the training hours, including the worker’s share;
. 60% of the hourly wage of the workers involved;
. 80% of the hourly wage for interventions promoted by Training Systems or Chains;
. 100 percent of the hourly wage in the following cases: hires with a contract of advanced training apprenticeship (Level III) before the start of training; hires of unemployed for at least 12 months before the start of training.

The Fund’s benefits can be combined with those provided by the joint interprofessional funds to which companies belong.

WHAT ARE THE TIMELINES?
The application window opens on February 10, 2025.
